How do I install WooCommerce?

Overview

WooCommerce is a free plugin for WordPress that allows you to turn your website into a fully functional online store. Before installing WooCommerce, you must first have WordPress installed on your hosting account.

Option 1: Install via Client Area (Recommended)

Step 1 – Install WordPress

  1. Log in to your client portal
  2. Go to Services
  3. Click Manage next to your active hosting service
  4. Click Control Panel Login
  5. In DirectAdmin, go to: Advanced Features → WordPress Manager
  6. Choose your domain and click Install

Step 2 – Install WooCommerce

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard: yourdomain.com/wp-admin
  2. Go to Plugins → Add New
  3. Search for “WooCommerce”
  4. Click Install Now
  5. Click Activate
  6. Follow the WooCommerce setup wizard to configure your store

Option 2: Install via DirectAdmin Login

If your domain is fully connected, you can log in directly:

  1. Open your browser and go to: yourdomain.com:2222
  2. Log in to DirectAdmin
  3. Go to: Advanced Features → WordPress Manager
  4. Select your domain and click Install WordPress

Step 2 – Install WooCommerce

  1. Go to yourdomain.com/wp-admin
  2. Navigate to Plugins → Add New
  3. Search for “WooCommerce”
  4. Click Install Now, then Activate
  5. Complete the setup wizard
