Overview
You can connect your hosting email to Microsoft Outlook using IMAP so your emails stay synced across all devices.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
- Your full email address (e.g.info@youdomain.com)
- Your email password
- Your mail server settings
Recommended IMAP Settings
Incoming Mail (IMAP)
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 993
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Username: Full email address
- Password: Your email password
Outgoing Mail (SMTP)
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (STARTTLS)
- Encryption: SSL/TLS or STARTTLS
- Authentication: Required (use full email address + password)
Step-by-Step Setup in Outlook
- Open Microsoft Outlook
- Go to File → Add Account
- Enter your email address
- Click Advanced options and choose Let me set up my account manually
- Select IMAP
- Enter incoming mail settings (IMAP)
- Enter outgoing mail settings (SMTP)
- Enter your password when prompted
- Click Connect
- Finish setup and allow Outlook to sync your emails
Important Notes
- Always use IMAP so emails stay synced across devices
- Make sure SSL/TLS is enabled for security
- If Outlook auto-detects incorrect settings, switch to manual setup

Common Issues & Fixes
Cannot send emails
- Check SMTP authentication is enabled
- Confirm port 465 or 587 is correct

Emails not syncing
- Verify IMAP server settings
- Ensure stable internet connection
Login failed
