How do I transfer my domain to you?

Overview

You can transfer your domain from another provider to us so everything is managed in one place. A domain transfer moves your registration from your current registrar to our system.

Before You Start

Make sure:

• Your domain is unlocked at your current provider
• You have obtained the EPP/Auth code
• The domain is not within 60 days of being registered or recently transferred
• Your WHOIS contact email is accessible

Step-by-Step Guide

Log in to your current domain provider

Unlock your domain (disable domain lock if enabled)

Request your EPP/Auth code from your provider

Log in to your FossBilling client area

Go to Domains → Transfer Domain

Enter your domain name

Enter your EPP/Auth code when prompted

Complete checkout for the transfer

What Happens Next

The transfer will be initiated and sent to your current registrar for approval You may receive an email to confirm the transfer Transfers typically complete within 5–7 days

Important Notes

Your website and email will not go down if DNS is unchanged You must approve transfer emails when requested Some domains may take longer depending on the extension (.uk, .com, etc.) You may still manage DNS during the transfer process

Common Issues & Fixes

Transfer not starting Check domain is unlocked and EPP code is correct

Transfer stuck pending Approve transfer via email from your old provider

Invalid EPP code Request a new code from your current registrar
